Indian actor Hrithik Roshan will be making his directorial debut with movie Krrish 4.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced this on Friday on X, stating this will be produced by Rakesh and Aditya Chopra.

“Biggg news – it’s official… Rakesh Roshan - Aditya Chopra to jointly produce ‘Krrish 4’… Hrithik Roshan turns director. Hrithik Roshan turns director for India’s biggest superhero franchise Krrish4. Krrish4 will be produced by Adity aChopra [YashRajFilms] in association with Rakesh Roshan,” he said.

A fan commented, “HR [Hrithik Roshan] turns director for Krish4. Woah, Krazzyyy news.”

Another fan stated that “This is going to be epic.”

This superhero film is sequel of 2003 movie Koi…Mil Gaya, which was previously directed by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan.

The movie was about Rohit Mehra (Hrithik) and Nisha’s (Preity Zinta) son, Krishna (also played by Hrithik), who lives a protected life with his grandmother Sonia (Rekha).

His life changes dramatically when he ventures out to pursue his love, Priya (Priyanka Chopra). He eventually adopts the superhero persona of Krrish to combat evil.

This franchise has become one of the most successful film series in India.
