Karachi: Teenage motorcyclist killed in Northern Bypass accident
A speeding trailer has crushed a 15-year-old motorcycle rider in the Surjani Northern Bypass area of Karachi, resulting in the tragic death of young Owais.
According to the police, Owais was riding his motorcycle when suddenly a trailer hit him, causing his death at the spot. After the accident, the trailer driver fled the scene.
The police stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing, and efforts are being made to locate the driver.
Young motorcycle rider, Owais, was a ninth-grade student and the eldest among five siblings.

According to the family, Owais was returning home after appearing for his ninth-grade practical exam. After legal formalities, his body was shifted to the Edhi mortuary and will be taken to Bahawalpur for burial.
Disheartened by the lack of justice, Owais’s father has refused to pursue any legal action.
The events seem to be a part of an unending cycle, claiming lives of citizens. Authorities are yet to take any significant decision and make a consistent policy to stop those deadly incidents.
Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi has also announced a sit-in on April 5, in front of Sindh IG office.
