Peshawar claimed a convincing victory over Abbottabad in the semi-final of the National T20 Cup 2025 in Faisalabad, securing their place in the final with a dominant performance.

While batting first, Peshawar put a gigantic total of 243 runs on the score board, with Sahibzada Farhaan’s enormous knock of 148 runs on 72 deliveries. He smacked 12 sixes and 10 fours, making Abbottabad’s bowling attack to crumble.

With Farhaan charging his bat to throw a dozen of deliveries out of the park, Waqar Ahmed’s 34 and Maaz Sadaqat 31 runs, also helped Peshawar to set a hefty target.

Chasing the target of 243 runs, Abbottabad’s batting line up couldn’t succeed to built valuable partnerships and keep losing wickets on crucial moments. With a fifty by Shahzaib Khan, no Abbottabad batter managed to put considerable runs on board.
