CII calls key meeting on human milk banks and second marriage without permission
The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has scheduled a crucial meeting for tomorrow to discuss key religious and legal matters, including the establishment of human milk banks and the Supreme Court’s ruling on second marriages without a wife’s permission.
The session, to be chaired by Council Chairman Allama Raghib Naeemi, will also address issues such as women’s inheritance rights, electricity theft and the investment of Zakat funds in Islamic banks.
A key point of discussion will be the Supreme Court’s decision, which allows a wife to annul the marriage contract if her husband remarries without her consent.
Additionally, the council will deliberate on the implications of setting up human milk banks in the country.
