After nearly four and a half years, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially closed the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, ruling out any foul play and giving a clean chit to actress Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant, 34, was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. His tragic demise left Bollywood and his fans in deep shock, triggering widespread speculation and media frenzy.

According to Indian media reports, CBI has completed its investigation and submitted a closure report in court, stating that there was no evidence to suggest anyone forced Sushant into suicide.

The next hearing is scheduled for 8 April at the Bandra Magistrate Court in Mumbai. If the court accepts the report, the case will be formally closed.
