Two suspected terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in North Waziristan, while gunfire from the assailants resulted in the death of a passerby and left another injured.

According to details, the CTD launched an operation in the Bakkakhel area of North Waziristan, targeting militants responsible for the killing of a police constable in Bannu.

Police officials confirmed that the slain terrorists had been involved in the murder of Constable Arman in Bannu.

However, during the encounter, their gunfire also claimed the life of an innocent bystander and injured another.
