A teenage girl in Karachi allegedly took her own life following an argument with her fiancé, police reported.

The incident occurred near Light House, while two separate traffic accidents in the city claimed two lives and left one person injured.

According to police officials, the body of 17-year-old Samer, a medical student, was found hanging in her flat near Iftikhar Mansion, Lighthouse.

Preliminary investigations suggest she committed suicide after a dispute with her fiancé. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for legal formalities, and further investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist lost his life, and another was injured when an unidentified vehicle hit them near DHA City on the Super Highway.

In another incident, 17-year-old Shehzad was killed after being struck by an unknown vehicle near Coast Guard Chowrangi in Korangi. Police are investigating both accidents.
