The first T20 in Christchurch turned into a nightmare for Pakistan as New Zealand secured a dominant nine-wicket victory.
Pakistan’s batting lineup collapsed completely, with the entire team bundled out for just 91 runs — its lowest-ever total in T20 cricket against New Zealand.
Pakistan’s openers, Mohammad Haris and Hassan Nawaz, departed without scoring, while Irfan Khan managed just one run.
In his comeback match, Shadab Khan could only add three runs before being dismissed. Khushdil Shah was the top scorer with 32, followed by captain Agha Salman, who contributed 18.
