Pakistani diplomat denied entry into US
A senior Pakistani diplomat, KK Ahsan Wagan, was denied entry into the United States upon arrival for a private visit, sources said.
According to reports, Wagan was stopped at Los Angeles International Airport and subsequently deported.
Officials cited unspecified complaints against him, though no official statement has been issued by the US State Department or the Department of Homeland Security.
Wagan, who previously served as Pakistan’s envoy in the US and later in Oman, was recently posted to Turkmenistan six months ago.
While sources insist his deportation is not linked to any diplomatic policy or ongoing issue, it is believed that administrative complaints from his tenure in the US may have influenced the decision.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office has yet to comment on the matter.
