Pakistani national deported from US after immigration authorities’ removal order
A Pakistani national illegally residing in the US has been deported after his removal was ordered earlier, immigration authorities in Dallas said.
Syed Rizvi, who is a 56-year-old Pakistani national, was ordered to be removed from the United States after US intelligence sources identified him as “a national security priority,” US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Dallas said in a statement.
“He was designated for removal under the Immigration and Nationality Act,” it said, “Rizvi was residing in Dallas, Texas without authorization prior to his removal.”
ERO Dallas arrested Rizvi on January 31 following a routine traffic stop. An immigration judge had ordered his removal on January 24.
Rizvi legally entered the United States on September 20, 2017, at the New York port of entry, but he later violated the terms of his admission.
