Ninth-grade student kidnapped in Karachi’s Manghopir area
A ninth-grade student has been abducted by unidentified individuals in the Manghopir area of Karachi, with kidnappers demanding a hefty ransom of Rs60 million from his family.
According to details, the abducted student, 17-year-old Abidullah, was kidnapped last night.
Sources said that the incident occurred on March 5, when Abid left home for prayers but never returned.
Police have registered a case and transferred the investigation to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), which has now launched a probe into the matter.

Meanwhile, Sindh Interior Minister Zia Hassan Lanjar has taken notice of the incident. His spokesperson confirmed that the minister has sought a detailed report from police officials regarding the case.
