The Punjab government has approved the Chief Minister Laptop Program 2025, providing portable personal computers to as many as 110,000 deserving students.

According to the provincial education minister, students enrolled in public sector educational institutions for BS programmes would receive 13th generation Core i7 laptops.

An official link for online applications has already been published, and relevant information is available on the Punjab Higher Education website.

Laptop distribution is the flagship project of the PML-N government. It was Shehbaz Sharif, the incumbent prime minister, who started the initiative when he was the chief minister of the province.

Eligibility criteria

• Must have a domicile from any district of Punjab.

• Must be enrolled in: 1st or 2nd semester of BS in any Public university/college

• Public medical & dental college/university (1st professional - academic session 2024)

• For public sector universities/colleges (minimum of 65% marks in intermediate)

• For public sector medical & dental colleges/university (minimum of 80% marks in intermediate)

• Student must not be a recipient of any laptop scheme
