Shahid Khaqan Abbasi: No one is safe in current circumstances
Former prime ninister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra visited Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, condemning the recent terrorist attack.
Abbasi called the bombing an assault on Islam.
During his visit, Abbasi, who heads Awam Pakistan Party, offered Fatiha for Maulana Hamidul Haq, who was killed in the attack.
Speaking to the media, he expressed his deep ties with both Maulana Hamidul Haq and his father, Maulana Samiul Haq.

He lamented the deteriorating security situation in Pakistan, stating that no one is safe under the current circumstances.
He warned that if national unity is not demonstrated, adversaries will gain the upper hand. Terming the attack on Darul Uloom Haqqania as a cowardly strike on the Muslim world, Abbasi strongly condemned the act and assured the bereaved family of his support.
He urged the government to take immediate and effective steps to prevent such tragedies in the future.
Meanwhile, PML-N’s central leader, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, conveyed messages of solidarity from Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif to the administration of Darul Uloom Haqqania.
