Video shows traffic warden assaulting disabled rickshaw driver in Lahore
A disturbing video has surfaced showing a traffic warden in Lahore apparently assaulting a disabled rickshaw driver.
In the footage, the warden is seen slapping the driver and behaving in a disrespectful manner.
The driver can be heard pleading with the warden, explaining that he is disabled and working hard to provide a halal livelihood for his children. Despite his attempts to reason with the warden, he was met with continued abuse.
Passersby stepped to help the rickshaw driver, expressing their frustration that traffic wardens seemed more focused on issuing fines rather than taking effective measures to manage traffic flow.
