Champions Trophy: Pakistan vs Bangladesh match washed out due to rain
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh was abandoned due to persistent rain on Tuesday.
The Group A fixture, scheduled to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, could not proceed as heavy rainfall left the outfield unplayable.
The toss was initially set for 1:30pm local time, but wet conditions prevented any play. After multiple inspections, the umpires officially called off the match.
With both teams sharing one point each, Pakistan ended up at the bottom of Group A. Earlier, another match in Rawalpindi, featuring South Africa and Australia, was also washed out.
