Pak-Ind clash fetches record-breaking ticket sales
The highly anticipated Pakistan versus India match in the ICC Champions Trophy, scheduled for February 23 in Dubai, has seen record-breaking ticket sales. The total revenue generated from ticket sales for this match alone surpasses Rs3.4 billion.
Ticket prices ranged from AED500 to 12,500, translating to a price range of Rs38,130 to Rs950,325 in Pakistani Rupees. The overall ticket sales for all Champions Trophy matches in Dubai have reached an impressive AED88.55 million.
The tournament, hosted by Pakistan, kicks off on February 19 in Karachi’s National Stadium with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
Eight teams – Pakistan, India, Australia, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and New Zealand – are participating. While the Pakistan-India match will be played in Dubai, the stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000.
