Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, which topped the Billboard charts and received widespread acclaim, also secured her the award for Best Country Solo Performance, further demonstrating her ability to blend genres and captivate audiences.
Sabrina Carpenter also celebrated a major victory, winning Best Pop Vocal Album for her album Short N’ Sweet.
This triumph is notable as she competed against heavyweights like Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift, signaling her growing influence in the pop music scene.
Kendrick Lamar was another highlight of the evening, taking home two prestigious awards: Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his hit single “Not Like Us.” His album, Doechii - Alligator Bites Never Heal, won Best Rap Album, reinforcing his status as a leading voice in contemporary hip-hop.
Rising star Chappell Roan won the title of Best New Artist, while Shakira was recognized for Best Latin Pop Album with her emotional record Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
Hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, the ceremony also paid tribute to the victims of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, with proceeds from the event allocated for wildfire relief efforts.
