Four Levies martyred in DI Khan bombing

In a tragic incident in Dera Ismail Khan, a bomb blast resulted in the deaths of four members of the Balochistan Levies Force and their civilian driver. According to local authorities, the blast occurred at the Kalachi Mor area, targeting their vehicle. The explosion ignited a fire, causing severe burns to all five individuals inside.

The deceased include Naib Risaldar Noor Ahmad Kaakar and constables Rashid Zaman, Daud Khan, and Bilal Ahmad, all part of the Khanozai Levies Force from Pishin district, along with their civilian driver.

The Levies Force reported that the personnel were en route to Dera Ismail Khan to recover a stolen truck. The truck had been reported stolen on January 13, and the local police had informed the Khanozai Levies about its recovery.

Naib Risaldar Noor Ahmad, along with three constables and the driver, set out on Saturday morning in a private vehicle to retrieve the stolen truck. However, they came under attack from unidentified assailants during their journey.

Prior to the explosion, the vehicle was also fired upon. According to the Pishin Levies, the bodies will be transported to Balochistan after necessary formalities.
