A remote-controlled bomb attack on a passenger bus traveling from Khuzdar to Rawalpindi killed one passenger and injured at least seven others on Sunday.

Police reported that the incident occurred near Khore, approximately 35 kilometers from Khuzdar, on the M8 highway. Sources indicated that the bomb was planted in a car parked by the roadside.

The bomb detonated remotely as the passenger coach passed, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

Emergency services transported the injured to the Trauma Center and Jhalawan Teaching Hospital. Security forces are currently investigating the incident and conducting further operations. The identity of the deceased passenger has not yet been released.
