PTI female worker arrested for role in violent protests
Attock police have arrested Basat Tahir, for her suspected involvement in violent incidents that occurred during the party’s protest on November 26.
Basat worked for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),
Basat participated in the clashes between PTI supporters and law enforcement during the demonstration against police actions.
Basat is the daughter of former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Major (retd) Tahir Sadiq and the niece of the chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
