Pakistani engineer’s Tesla cybertruck replica goes viral
Gujranwala resident and an engineer, Wali Muhammad, has successfully built a replica of Tesla’s Cybertruck in his workshop.
The project was commissioned by a client through Mughal Safeguard, a company with a branch on Sialkot Road, Civil Lines.
The vehicle closely resembles the original Cybertruck, showcasing Muhammad’s attention to detail. The total cost of the build was Rs3 million, and it has already been delivered to the client.
“The client wanted a car similar to the Cybertruck, so they reached out to us. Our artisan, Wali Muhammad, built the car for Rs3 million.”
This custom work is typical for Mughal Safeguard, which frequently takes orders for vehicles based on client specifications. The local Cybertruck has gone viral on social media, with many dubbing it the “Pakistani Tesla.”
“Pakistan’s first locally made Cybertruck. Elon Musk, it’s time to open a manufacturing plant in Pakistan. The government is working day and night,” one user wrote.
“Elon Musk, your Cybertruck prototype is roaming the streets of Pakistan. Your design has spread globally, and local engineers have given it a desi twist. Check out this masterpiece,” another user wrote on X.
