PTI, PMLN leaders get into brawl on TV show
A heated exchange between leaders of Pakistan’s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parties erupted into a physical altercation during a live television debate, with video footage quickly going viral on social media.
The video, widely circulated on platforms like Facebook, shows a verbal confrontation between PML-N’s Akthar Wali Khan and PTI’s Naeem Haider Panjautha escalating into a brawl.
Both politicians engaged in shouting matches and traded insults, with accusations leveled against each other’s leadership. The altercation began when Khan allegedly lunged at Panjotha, prompting a physical response. The studio staff intervened to separate the two combatants.
This is not the first such incident involving PML-N and PTI representatives on television. Previous televised debates have also witnessed physical confrontations, notably between Senator Afnan Ullah (PML-N) and Sher Afzal Marwat (PTI).
