TV personality Spencer Pratt reports significant TikTok earnings after Malibu fire
The former reality TV star, Spencer Pratt known for his role on MTV’s The Hills, has shared impressive financial gains from TikTok following the destruction of his Malibu home in a devastating fire earlier this month.
Despite the loss, Pratt has received substantial support from fans as he documents his family’s journey to rebuild.
In an interview with Variety, Pratt revealed that he earned $4,000 from regular TikTok videos and an impressive $20,000 from TikTok Live streams, where followers can donate directly.
“That’s phenomenal and life-changing,” he said and expressed gratitude for the kindness of his supporters.
Since the fire, Pratt has gained one million new followers on TikTok, effectively doubling his audience as fans rallied around him and his wife, Heidi Montag.
Montag’s 2010 song “I’ll Do It” has seen a resurgence in popularity, thanks to fans and co-stars streaming it to support the couple.
Although Pratt admitted to “faking positivity” during this challenging time, he remains optimistic about the future.
