UAE launches 90-day multi-entry visit visa for foreign nationals
The United Arab Emirates has unveiled an innovative multi-entry visit visa that facilitates travel for foreign nationals wishing to visit relatives and friends without the need for a local sponsor or guarantor, allowing for flexible stays of 30, 60, or 90 days, Gulf News reported.
This catered to various travel needs. Individuals can apply to visit close relatives, including parents, children, siblings, and spouses, by providing proof of their relationship, such as marriage or birth certificates.
Friends are also eligible for the visa but must present “valid reasons” for their visit, such as attending important events or spending quality time with close associates.
The application can be submitted through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) website, mobile app, or at service centres within the UAE.
Required documents include:
- A valid passport with a minimum of six months’ validity
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- Supporting financial documentation
- Employment or business proof (e.g., salary certificate, partnership contract, or business licence)
The visa fees are structured as follows: for a 30-day visa, the cost is AED 300 (at least Rs22,755); for a 60-day visa, the fee is AED 500 (at least Rs37,925); and for a 90-day visa, the charge is AED700 (at least Rs53,095).
