Šeško’s agent quashes Arsenal loan speculation
Recent reports linking young RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško to a loan move to Arsenal have been emphatically denied by his agent, Elvis Beganović. In a statement aimed at dispelling the rumors, Beganović explicitly stated that he has not engaged in any discussions with Arsenal regarding a temporary transfer for the Slovenian international.
He went further, asserting that Šeško is not a player considered for loan deals at this time, effectively closing the door on any such possibility, at least from Arsenal’s perspective. This firm denial suggests that Leipzig is not actively seeking to loan out the highly-rated forward.
Beganović’s comments also revealed a lack of broader winter transfer interest in Šeško, stating that neither he nor the player is aware of any significant approaches from other top European clubs. This absence of concrete offers could indicate that Leipzig’s valuation of Šeško is currently deterring potential suitors.
However, the agent’s statement didn’t entirely rule out a transfer. His comments implied that a permanent move to another club could be considered by RB Leipzig if a suitable offer were received. This suggests that while a loan move is off the table, a sale remains a possibility, contingent upon Leipzig’s assessment of the financial terms presented by any interested party.
Therefore, while the Arsenal loan speculation is definitively debunked, the possibility of Šeško leaving RB Leipzig this winter, albeit through a permanent transfer, remains a theoretical possibility. For now, however, he is expected to remain in Saxony.
