Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry says will challenge £190m case verdict
Jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry has condemned the judgement in the £190 million case, saying that the legal team would challenge the verdict in higher courts
At a press conference outside the Adiala Jail on Friday, Chaudhry raised a question regarding the transaction involving PML-N President Nawaz Sharif’s son, asking “how a property purchased for Rs9 billion was sold for Rs18 billion to Riaz without ever inquiring how the funds were transferred to his son.”
He further accused Nawaz of engaging in money laundering and acquiring properties in London while also striking deals with former army chief to avoid legal troubles.
Faisal labelled the situation as “lawless,” pledging that he would take “every action” against the court ruling.
He also condemned the National Accountability Bureau, stating that his investigation was “fraud.”
