BISE announces strict punishment for leaking question paper on social media

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore (BISE) has devised strict rules and regulations against making leaking question papers on social media.

The punishment for leaking exam papers now is three years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs50,000, or both.

A strict ban will be imposed on unauthorized individuals entering examination centers, and an FIR will be filed against anyone violating this rule.

The new notification from the board stated that measures against those leaking exam papers will be tightened.

Additionally, during examinations, individuals are prohibited from taking photos of the question paper using any device, making recordings, or disrupting the examination process

Also, the board will put forward stringent restrictions on the use of mobile phones and other prohibited devices during exams.
