In light of the Yaum-i-Ali procession scheduled for today (Tuesday), the Karachi police have released a traffic plan to manage road closures and diversions throughout the city.

The procession, which will move from Saddar to Shah Khurasan, will lead to significant disruptions on several key routes.

MA Jinnah Road will be closed from Tibet Center to Gurumandir Chowk, and surrounding streets will also face closures. Bahadur Yar Jang Road will remain open to traffic.

Vehicles travelling from Gurumandir to Tower are advised to take Soldier Bazaar No. 1 signal towards Coast Guard and Uncle Saria Signal, with traffic being diverted to alleviate congestion.

For those coming from Society Light Signal, the route to Khudadad Colony Bridge will be accessible towards Empress Market.

Commuters from Burns Road should use Eidgah Chowk to reach their destinations, while traffic from Jamia Cloth will be redirected towards Jubilee, Tibet Center, and Regal Chowk.

At Fawara Chowk, vehicles will be diverted towards Paradise Signal, Passport Office, and Empress Market. Traffic from Garden Baghicha will also be rerouted towards Anklesaria Hospital, Gull Plaza, and Tibet Chowk.
