Actress Neelam Muneer’s husband turns out to be ‘Pakistani’
Pakistani actress Neelam Muneer’s husband, Muhammad Rashid, hails from Mianwali, Pakistan, media reports said, contrary to claims about the nationality of the groom.
At the start of the New Year, Neelam shared wedding photos from Dubai, which quickly went viral on social media.
In an interview with a private media outlet, Neelam Muneer’s brother-in-law, Samar Ranjha, revealed that he has brothers and two sisters. “My brother’s real name is Rashid, but his friends call him Shahid. He has been living in Dubai since 2006, where he runs a travel and tourism business, along with three to four restaurants.”
According to Samar, “Muhammad Rashid and Neelam Muneer first met at a restaurant in Dubai. They began chatting on Snapchat, and eventually fell in love. They stayed in touch for two to two and a half years before getting married.”
Neelam’s brother-in-law revealed that the wedding and walima (reception) took place in Dubai, attended by a few family members, including himself.
“For the dowry, my bhabhi Neelam gifted me a gold chain and a mobile phone while I presented her with a bracelet worth Rs800,000 to Rs900,000. Upon their return to Pakistan, a walima will also be held in Mianwali.”

He added that both his brother and sister-in-law have good incomes.“Neelam Muneer is very well-mannered. We often keep in touch with her family.”
In the recent past, YouTuber Yasir Shami shared a video on social media detailing information about the actress’ husband.
Shami claimed that Neelam’s husband works in the CID department of Dubai Police. He noted that if the Dubai Police officers have two to three years of experience, their salary is around 13,000 dirhams (approximately Rs1 million). For those with five to eight years of experience, salaries range from 13,000 to 18,000 dirhams (around Rs1.3 to Rs1.4 million). Officers with eight to 10 years of experience earn up to 22,000 dirhams, equating to approximately Rs1.6 to Rs1.7 million.
