Billboard unveils top 10 albums of the 21st century

Billboard has released its list of the top albums of the 21st century, based on data from the Billboard 200 chart, covering the period from 2000 to the end of 2024.

Topping the list is Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which debuted at No. 1 on January 23, 2021, and reigned for an impressive 10 consecutive weeks.

The album has spent a remarkable 158 weeks in the top 10, reflecting Wallen’s significant impact on the country music scene.

Following Wallen is Adele with her iconic album 21, released in 2011, featuring hit songs like “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep.”

Taylor Swift’s Fearless (2008) and 1989 (2014) also made the list, showcasing her evolution from country to pop.

Other notable entries include the original Broadway cast recording of Hamilton: An American Musical, Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, and Lady Gaga’s debut album The Fame.
