‘Marco’ box office success: Action film makes crores in 21 Days
Unni Mukundan’s action film ‘Marco’ has achieved significant box office success, earning an impressive Rs96.75 Crores worldwide within just 21 days of its release.
Since its debut on December 20, 2024, ‘Marco’ has become the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film to date.
The film’s domestic earnings in India alone stand at approximately Rs55.90 Crores, with total collections across all languages reaching Rs56.95 Crores.
On its 21st day, ‘Marco’ collected around Rs1.05 Crores, maintaining strong momentum throughout its first three weeks.
The weekly breakdown shows collections of Rs27.6 Crore in the first week, Rs16.3 Crore in the second week, and Rs13.05 Crore in the third week.
As of January 9, ‘Marco’ reported a notable occupancy rate of 8.33% in Malayalam theaters, with even higher occupancy in Tamil screenings.
Released during the festive Christmas season, the film capitalized on the holiday crowd, contributing to its box office success.
