Meghan Markle opens up about struggles with drinking in candid blog post
Meghan Markle candidly discussed her ongoing battle with alcohol and her commitment to self-improvement.
The Duchess of Sussex, who previously shared her New Year resolutions in a blog post on “The Tig,” acknowledged her struggles with drinking and swearing.
In her 2016 post, Markle outlined her goals for the year, including running a marathon, quitting nail-biting, and re-learning French.

Markle wrote, “The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple of drinks.”
She also reflected on her attempts to regain her French language skills, which she lost after immersing herself in Spanish while living in Buenos Aires.
