Maulana Fazlur Rehman suspends political activities due to health concerns
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), has paused all political engagements following health concerns on Friday.
Sources indicated that doctors have recommended complete bed rest and advised him to refrain from walking due to swelling in his left foot.
This condition reportedly arose after his recent meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where he discussed matters related to the Seminary Registration Bill on December 20.
Recently, Prime Minister, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Zardari have reportedly reached a consensus ona presidential ordinance for the registration of madressahs, with the Ministry of Law tasked with its preparation.
