Guests from India expected at wedding of Nawaz’s grandson
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Zaid Hussain Nawaz’s event preparations have been finalized, with all necessary arrangements in place to welcome Indian guests attending the occasion.
According to sources from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, the upcoming wedding celebrations for Zaid Hussain Nawaz will attract guests from various countries, including the US, UK, European nations, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, India, and neighboring regions, Express Tribune reported.
For accommodation, 25 to 30 rooms have been reserved at the Faisalabad Hotel, and the State Guest House has been designated for hosting international guests.
All members of the Sharif family living abroad, including the former Prime Minister’s younger daughter, Asma Nawaz, have already arrived in Pakistan. Hussain and his family have also reached Lahore for the wedding festivities.
Punjab Police have implemented security measures for both local and international attendees, following official directives.

The wedding celebrations will commence with Zaid’s Nikah on December 25, coinciding with a Henna ceremony at Jati Umra, where around 500 guests are expected. The main wedding ceremony is scheduled for December 27, followed by a grand reception, or Valima, on December 29, which will host approximately 700 guests.
