Lay’s issues recall on classic potato chips due to undeclared milk
Frito-Lay has announced a limited recall of specific 13-ounce bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips after discovering that they may contain undeclared milk.
This recall was initiated following consumer feedback indicating the potential allergen risk.
The affected chips were distributed to select retail stores and e-commerce platforms in Oregon and Washington, with sales beginning as early as November 3.
Although no allergic reactions have been reported so far, individuals with milk allergies or severe sensitivities are at risk of serious health complications if they consume these products.
Consumers are advised to immediately discard the recalled chips and not to consume them.
Frito-Lay has notified the FDA about this recall, and customers can reach out to Frito-Lay Consumer Relations at 1-800-352-4477 for further assistance.
