Naughty Dog, the studio behind acclaimed titles like The Last of Us and Uncharted, announced their newest game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a brand-new IP currently in development for the PlayStation 5.

The game, in development since 2020, follows Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter stranded on the mysterious planet Sempiria, a world cut off from the rest of the universe for over 600 years.

The story will be an emotional, character-driven epic, promising the deepest gameplay experience in Naughty Dog’s history.

The game stars Tati Gabrielle as Jordan, and features a stellar supporting cast, some of whom can be glimpsed in the announcement trailer.

The soundtrack will be composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

While details about the plot remain scarce, Naughty Dog promises a thrilling adventure that builds upon their legacy of creating immersive and emotionally resonant narratives.
