ANF seizes 700kg of methamphetamine in Karachi port raid
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt at Karachi port on Wednesday, seizing a substantial haul of methamphetamine, commonly known as ice.
During a raid at the South Asia Pakistan Terminal, officials discovered approximately 700 kilograms of the drug hidden within a container destined for Malaysia.
The methamphetamine was ingeniously mixed with calcium carbonate to evade detection.
ANF personnel inspected 854 bags of calcium carbonate and found the narcotic concealed in 28 of those bags.
