Pakistan’s car market has experienced a remarkable growth of 50% over the first five months of the current fiscal year (FY25), with total sales reaching 38,534 units compared to 25,746 units during the same period last year.

Despite a significant 25.08% drop in November sales, which fell to 7,909 units from 10,557 in October, the overall performance remains strong.

Data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) indicates that November’s sales were notably lower at 4,875 units.

Sales of jeeps, vans, and pickups have also shown robust demand, with a total of 12,259 units sold over the five-month period—an impressive 55% increase from the previous year, despite a slight monthly decline in November.

The report highlights the introduction of electric vehicles (EVs) into PAMA’s data, with Dewan’s Horni Ve EV producing 70 units and selling 63.

Leading the sales growth, Pak Suzuki Motor Company reported a 41% increase in sales, totaling 25,812 units from July to November.

Indus Motor Company (IMC) saw a 67% rise with 10,886 units sold, while Honda Atlas Cars Ltd experienced a 50% increase, reaching 5,974 units.
