College football fans were left buzzing after catching a glimpse of a TV reporter Ashley ShahAhmadi during the SEC Championship game between Georgia and Texas on December 7.

The 32-year-old Emmy Award-winning sports journalist drew attention not only for her role as the host of the Dr Pepper halftime challenge but also for her stylish appearance, featuring a sleeveless brown top and matching miniskirt.

The event, held at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, showcased students competing for a chance to win $100,000 by chest-passing a football into a giant Dr Pepper can.

But it quickly became apparent that viewers were more intrigued by ShahAhmadi’s relationship status than the halftime competition itself, sparking conversations about her being officially taken.

Fans on X expressed their affection for the reporter, with one user asking, “I love you. Marry me?” and another declaring, “I need you in my life.” But the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when it was revealed that ShahAhmadi was already engaged.

ShahAhmadi, who joined ESPN in 2023, got engaged to her partner Tyler in February and married him in October of the same year. The couple also shares two beloved pets, as noted on her Instagram.

A University of Georgia graduate, ShahAhmadi has made a name for herself as an ESPN Radio NBA postseason reporter, covering the Minnesota/Dallas playoff series during the 2024 season. She previously worked for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, where she reported on the NBA as both a host and reporter.
