A newlywed couple’s unconventional photoshoot during last month’s protests and road blockades in Islamabad has taken social media by storm has revealed truth about their shoot.

Instead of opting for scenic locations, the couple chose to pose in front of protest containers, a decision that resonated with many online.

During a recent appearance on Aaj News’ morning show, the groom, Qasim, clarified that their wedding photoshoot did not take place at D-Chowk, as many assumed, but rather on Iran Avenue in Islamabad.

He emphasized that the containers they used as a backdrop were not from D-Chowk, and there was no security present at the site.

Regarding the viral nature of their photos, the couple revealed that both families were delighted with the outcome.

The bride explained that since it was an outdoor event, they faced challenges in selecting a venue. Ultimately, they decided to capture their memories in front of the containers, which turned out to be a special moment for them.

The bride, Khola, and groom, Qasim, posed against the backdrop of bright blue and red containers, symbolizing the tense atmosphere in the capital.

The couple was dressed for their big day, with Khola in an elegant silver-white traditional gown and Qasim in a stylish grey suit.

The photoshoot, captured by a local photographer and shared on social media, sparked mixed reactions from online viewers.
