A video of an Indian couple tying the knot in a moving train has gone viral on the internat, igniting a debate on social media about the unique wedding ceremony.
In a video circulating on social media the couple was seen getting married in the middle of a crowded train carriage. It showed the couple exchanging garlands in the train and a gathering of co-passengers siege them.
The emotional bride also complained to her groom about the comments from people or relatives around them. The groom then tied a wedding garland (mangalsutra) around her neck as the crowd cheered for them.
No details about the marriage have been revealed yet but this unusual marriage triggered a storm of comments on social media. Users believe that such weddings could raise budgets and expectations completely.
Other users said that if marriages could be officiated anywhere, then the process of divorces should also be made easier.
Some users replied that making divorces as easy as train weddings could shut down judiciary.
