Pakistan Maritime Security Agency rescues Indian cargo ship’s crew
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) successfully rescued 12 crew members from a sinking Indian cargo vessel in a swift maritime operation.
At approximately 10:20 AM, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Pakistan received an urgent email from MRCC Mumbai (India) requesting assistance in locating and rescuing survivors from the distressed vessel.
Responding swiftly and efficiently, the PMSA launched a rescue operation that successfully saved all 12 surviving crew members of the Indian cargo ship.
This operation underscores the PMSA’s commitment to upholding international search and rescue (SAR) responsibilities and fostering regional cooperation.
