Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Lahore’s Johar Town neighborhood, with CCTV footage of the incident now circulating online.

The footage shows two men on motorcycles approaching an elderly woman sitting in a rickshaw. At gunpoint, they snatched her purse.

According to the video, the woman resisted, prompting the robbers to brandish their weapons further. The robbers escaped with approximately 190,000 Pakistani Rupees in cash.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed by the victim’s son, Tariq. The FIR states that his mother had just left a bank after exchanging currency when the robbery took place.

Police are currently reviewing the CCTV footage and investigating the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
