Lahore, which was completely sealed off yesterday due to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests, gradually started reopening on Monday. Roadblocks have been removed from several locations, and the Metro Bus service has been partially restored, though its route is currently limited.

Traffic has been partially restored at Data Darbar, Azadi Chowk, and Shahdara, with containers and trucks removed to create single-lane passageways.

However, sources indicate that these routes could be closed again in case of emergencies, and police remain deployed in the area.

Motorway sections remain closed for a fourth consecutive day, and bus stands at General Bus Stand, Badami Bagh, and Band Road remain shut.

The Metro Bus service has resumed operations, but with a significantly reduced route. According to the Mass Transit Authority, the service is currently operating only between Gajjumatta and MAO College Chowk.

The route between MAO and Shahdara remains closed. The Metro Bus service has been intermittently suspended or limited for the past three days due to the ongoing protests.
