Check latest rates as gold prices soar in Pakistan
The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant jump of Rs2,200 per tola, reaching Rs182,700 on Saturday, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. This marks an increase from the previous price of Rs280,500.
In addition, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,857, bringing it to Rs242,370, up from Rs240,483. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also climbed to Rs222,172, up from Rs220,443.
Silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver priced at Rs3,450 and 10 grams at Rs2,957.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $22, rising to $2,715 from $2,693, further impacting local gold rates. The continued rise in gold prices reflects ongoing fluctuations in the global market.
