Two flash bombs were fired at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea on Saturday, landing in the garden, according to police reports. Neither Netanyahu nor his family were home at the time, and no damage was reported.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz condemned the incident, stating it crossed “all red lines” in a post on X early Sunday. He emphasized that it is unacceptable for the Prime Minister, already facing threats from Iran and its proxies, to endure such dangers at home.

Katz urged security and judicial agencies to take appropriate action in response to the incident. Israeli President Isaac Herzog also denounced the attack in a post on X, confirming that an investigation is underway.

Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir echoed this sentiment, stating that the incitement against Netanyahu has surpassed acceptable limits, and that throwing a flash bomb into his home represents a further escalation.

This follows an incident in October when a drone was launched towards Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea, which did not result in any harm.

Meanwhile, tensions continue to escalate in the north, where Israeli forces have been engaged in clashes with the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah since October 2023. As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for Saturday’s attack.
