Russia to export Su-57 fighter jets to foreign buyers at Chinese air show
Russian officials announced the signing of contracts to sell the export version of the Su-57 fighter jets to international customers.
Alexander Mikheyev, CEO of Rosoboronexport, confirmed the agreements on November 13, stating that this marks a significant step in Russia’s military-technical cooperation.
The Su-57, a fifth-generation multirole fighter, is designed for various missions, including engagement with air, ground, and naval targets.
Mikheyev highlighted the importance of showcasing Russian military hardware at the airshow, noting that the deals would enhance Russia’s market presence and attract interest from friendly nations seeking reliable defense solutions.
Russian test pilot Sergey Bogdan, speaking shortly after the announcement, claimed that the Su-57 surpasses all existing fighter jets worldwide in terms of performance.
