The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has announced a revised gas supply schedule for the upcoming winter season, aimed at ensuring consistent gas pressure for its consumers, according to media reports.

This updated timetable is designed to assist households in planning their cooking and daily activities more effectively.

According to the new plan, consumers will have access to gas during the following hours: 6am to 9am for breakfast; 12pm to 2pm for lunch; 6pm to 9pm for dinner.

Officials from the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited clarified that the newly established gas supply hours are in accordance with government regulations to address household needs during the winter months.

They assured customers that gas will be delivered at full pressure during such specified times in all serviced areas.

As winter approaches, the demand for gas typically rises due to heating requirements, with many households relying on gas for boilers and heaters. The shorter daylight hours and the need to maintain indoor warmth further increase gas consumption during this season.

The SNGPL serves over 7.22 million customers across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other regions of Pakistan.
