Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering postponing his son Avner’s upcoming wedding due to security concerns amid ongoing conflicts and drone threats, Kan public broadcaster reported.

The wedding is scheduled for November 26 at Ronit Farm in the Sharon region, north of Tel Aviv.

KAN claimed that Netanyahu has stated behind closed doors that the wedding should be postponed as it may risk the safety of those in attendance.

Netanyahu has reportedly expressed to associates that proceeding with the event as planned could endanger attendees.

The Prime Minister’s Office has not commented on the situation.

Drone launched at Netanyahu’s residence in northern Israel

Earlier this month, a Hezbollah drone struck the bedroom window of the Netanyahu family’s private residence in Caesarea, causing damage, although the family was not home at the time. Netanyahu responded to the incident at the time, stating, “Iran’s proxies, who today attempted to assassinate me and my wife, made a grave mistake. This will not deter me or the State of Israel from continuing the war of resurgence against our enemies to secure our safety for generations to come.”
