Indian TV actor Nitin Chauhaan dies by suicide at 35
Indian television actor Nitin Chauhaan, renowned for winning the reality show “Dadagiri 2,” has reportedly died by suicide in Mumbai at the age of 35.
The tragic news was confirmed by his co-stars from the series “Tera Yaar Hoon Main,” Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, although they did not provide further details.
Chauhaan, originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, gained fame through his victory on “Dadagiri 2” and appeared in several popular TV shows, including “MTV’s Splitsvilla 5” and episodic roles in “Zindagi Dot Com,” “Crime Patrol,” and “Friends.” His last appearance was in “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” in 2022.
The news of his passing has shocked colleagues and fans alike. Sudeep Sahir paid tribute on Instagram, stating, “Rest in peace, buddy.” Actress Vibhuti Thakur expressed her sorrow, sharing a photo with Nitin and wishing he had found the strength to overcome his struggles.
Nitin’s friend Kuldeep revealed that the family informed them of his death, indicating it was by suicide.
